A tasting hut has been present in one of the 7 ports of the town (Le Port de Larros) of Gujan-Mestras.
Once their growth process is complete, the oysters are placed in finishing tanks filled with seawater called drainers .
The oysters are then washed, sorted, graded, placed flat in baskets and then put on sale to consumers or retailers.
